On December 12, 2005 the victim was at the 7 Mares restaurant at 3861 Jackson when Adrian Flores-Ramos walked up to him and tried to start a fight. When the victim ignored him, Flores-Ramos pulled a large kitchen knife and stabbed the victim in the left side of his chest, then fled the scene. The victim was transported to the MED in critical condition but has since recovered and given a statement to police. Adrian Flores-Ramos was identified in a 6 person lineup.
